The world's biggest cake weighing 3,750 kg has been made to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 66th birthday in Gujarat's Surat city.

This cake will be cut by girls coming from various tribal areas and would be distributed amongst them and others.

This cake will attempt to register its name in the Guinness World Record for being the world's tallest cake.

Atul Vekariya, the chairman of Atul Bakery, where this cake has been prepared, said: "This cake weight 3,750 kg. We have broken the world record today. This is a pure-vegetarian cake. Many children, including disabled children as well, will come to have this."

Meanwhile, Navsera M P, C R Patil said that the effort showed the sentiment of the people and their love for Prime Minister Modi.

"I would like to congratulate Prime Minister Modi on his birthday. He has taken care of even minor things," he said.

The ingredients of the cake include maida, sugar, coco powder, salt, dark compound, water and cherry.
