2 Punjab sand mines to be e-auctioned

The Punjab Government would E-Auction two sand mines of Jalandhar and Hoshiarpur on 26th December 2013. The Ministry of Environment has issued environment clearance certificate in this regard.

A Spokesman of the Punjab Government said that the reserve price of one mine at Digana khurd in Hoshiarpur District is Rs 3.1 crore and the reserve price of another mine at village Sangowal Tehsil Phillaur in Jalandhar district is Rs 2 crore. Area of mine at Digana khurd and Sangowal is 119.69 and 33.55 acre respectively.
