Following the successful completion of its first year of operations to the Gulf region, Air India Express, the country's no-frills airline, has charted out plans to start services to Bahrain and Doha from Thiruvananthapuram. The services are expected to begin soon. | |

| The airline today operates flights from Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi, Kozhikode, Mumbai and Delhi to Gulf destinations like Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Al Ain, Muscat, Salalah and Sharjah. |
