CBI files 20th FIR in alleged coal scam

The CBI registered 20th FIR in the alleged coal scam.

The case has been regd against M/s Jayaswal Neco Industries Nagpur and unknown public servants under Section 120 B r/w 406 of IPC and 13(2) r/w 13(1)(d) of the PC Act for criminal conspiracy and cheating. Searches are being conducted at two places in Raipur, one place in Nagpur and one place in Raigarh.

The allegations pertain to misappropriation -  excess mining of coal beyond the approved quantum from Gare Palma IV/4 coal block in Raigarh and allegedly consumed the coal irregularly in captive power plant
