India's Finance Minister P. Chidambaram met Abu Dhabi crown prince Gen. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to discuss bilateral relations between the UAE and India.
Sheikh Mohamed, also the deputy supreme commander of the UAE Armed Forces, received Chidambaram at the Emirates Palace Sunday.
The two leaders discussed ways to promote relations in the common interest of the two friendly countries and their people.
The meeting emphasised the importance of continuing cooperation in all spheres, particularly in education, investment and trade.
India's Ambassador to the UAE M.K. Lokesh also attended the meeting.
