Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa on Monday threatened to reveal the documents pertaining to the alleged irregularities committed by former chief minister H D Kumaraswamy in transporting ore.
Speaking to reporters at Hubli airport before leaving for Haveri, the CM alleged that JD(S) supreme H D Deve Gowda and his family had illegally transported nearly 100,000 tonnes of ore from Mangalore Port to China during the tenure of N Dharam Singh as chief minister.
“I will disclose all the documents pertaining to the illegal transportation tomorrow at Bangalore,” Yeddurappa thundered. He dared Deve Gowda to counter him on this issue.
In a scathing attack on the Gowda family, Yeddyurappa said the former prime minister and former chief minister (read Kumaraswamy) should introspect into their own misdeeds before levelling charges against others.
Yeddyurappa was also furious at AICC general secretary B K Hariprasad for latter’s comments against Lok Ayukta Justice Santosh Hegde. He said the remarks against Hegde were in bad taste and Congress leaders had no moral right to criticise those who are fighting against corruption.
