The District Consumer Redressal Forum of Sundergarh has asked a branch of State Bank of India (SBI) to deposit Rs 57,000 in the account of Sebati Nayak, and to pay 12 per cent interest rate on the amount with retrospective effect starting September 14.  The complainant had  filed a case in the forum alleging that the bank branch officials did not deposit the specified amount in her account, even after giving out receipts for the same.
