The Hiamchal Pradesh government today denied allegations that Himalayan ski-village project in Manali was cleared in haste without waiting for clearance from the Centre or providing an environment certificate.

Describing the allegations, levelled by BJP leader Prem Kumar Dhumal, as "factually incorrect", a government spokesman said it took the government almost three months to scrutinise and approve the detailed project report and no haste was shown in the matter.

The project did not require Foreign Exchange Management Act approval as FDI investment in tourism projects follows the automatic route, he said in a statment here.
