ECoR workshop achieves new milestones

East Coast Railway's (ECoR) carriage repair workshop (CRW) at Mancheswar has achieved record performance in April. In this month, the workshop recorded highest ever physical out turn of 134 coaches including 26 air conditioned coaches compared to any month in the past.

The month also saw highest ever bogie out turn of 200 bogie sets . The wheel shop of the workshop has produced 902 wheels during the month which the highest ever for a month.

All the shops of the ECoR workshop have not only achieved peak productivity of 70 per cent but have also breached the record achieved in the months of January and February in 2011.
