Embroiled in a drug abuse case, Rahul Mahajan today pointed fingers at "a section of the society" for having some hidden agenda against his family and claimed he had committed no "legal or moral wrong."

After his release on bail yesterday, Rahul addressed a crowded press conference here to tell his side of the story, but refused to comment on any aspect of the drug abuse case against him, saying the matter was subjudice and any statement would prejudice his defence.

"Our family has been undergoing an extremely sad phase of life. There are people who sincerely stood with us and expressed unconditional support. Yet there may be a section of society who may have some other hidden agenda for which I have no answer," he said.

Arrested on June 5 from the Apollo hospital, where he was admitted in the wee hours of June 2 after a late night party, Rahul said, "I am not a drug dependent or user."
