Horticulture marketing board soon in Uttarakhand

The Uttarakhand government has decided to set up a horticulture marketing board to boost horticulture products in the state.

Under the plan, the board would market the horticulture products by establishing forward and backward linkages after buying them directly from farmers. The primary aim of the Board would be to establish links with top companies like Reliance, Bharati for selling the state produce like apples, apricot, potatoes, oranges and other green vegetables.
