The Indian Industries Association (IIA), an apex body of SMEs, has joined hands with Germany-based Confederation of Skilled Crafts to work for a development project for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) in Uttar Pradesh.
A delegation of German ZDH/SEQUA, an organisation working for implementing crafts policy, met IIA officials here yesterday for the partnership agreement, a release issued here said.
The partnership is aimed at empowering small and medium enterprises through the Indian business organisations and associations, IIA president Anil Gupta said.
"The association helps the partners improve their management while offering long lasting services to their member enterprises as per their requirements," IIA Executive Director D S Verma Verma said.
The SEQUA representatives include project director Jurgen Henkel, economist Agnes Gerold and project manager A Karthikeyan, while the IIA was represented by Verma in the meeting.
