After a ruckus over CBI demand over alleged killing of a young Indian Police Service (IPS) officer who stood in way of a tractor-trolley hauling illegally mined stones after the driver refused to obey his calls to stop was crushed to death under the vehicle. Narendra Kumar Singh, 30, was on patrol on Holi when he spotted the tractor-trolley at Banmore, an industrial town near Morena district headquarter. Holding the rank of sub-divisional officer, Kumar, whose wife – an IAS officer of Madhya Pradesh Cadre - is expecting, was allegedly crushed to death under the vehicle.
