Inflation rises to 11.89 %

During the week, index for primary articles rose by 0.9 per cent, while the manufactured goods index rose by 0.4 per cent over the previous week. The Index for fuel group remained unchanged, compared to the previous week.

Amongst primary articles, fruits and vegetables, lentil, condiments and spices increased. Prices of manufactured food products like edible oils also increased during the week under consideration.
