Intelligence agencies on B'deshi migrants

SSP Alok Kumar Singh directed officials to begin identification of Bangladeshi nationals residing illegally in different parts of Meerut district following reports on presence of thousands of Bangladeshis in the district.     

Intelligence units hinted that terrorists may target religious places in Western Uttar Pradesh to create communal discord and hence, all precautionary measures were underway to foil any such plans, source added.     

Security has been beefed up in and around several religious places in the district, they said.
