J&K farmers on study tour to Himachal and Punjab

Jammu and Kashmir government has sent a group of farmers for a study tour to Punjab and Himachal Pradesh to learn the latest farming techniques in order to give boost to agriculture and horticulture sectors in the state.     

Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC), Kathua, Rishi Kumar Gupta today flagged off the week-long study tour comprising of 24 farmers and orchardists from horticulture technology mission at Kathua today.     

The group, accompanied a specialist, will be imparted technical know-how and knowledge regarding the advanced scientific technological development for quality fruit cultivation and production.
