An empowered group of ministers (EGoM) has kept on hold proposals by the petroleum ministry to suspend the supply of KG-D6 gas to phosphatic and potassic (P&K) fertiliser plants and to restrict future supply only to urea units, Parliament was informed on Thursday. The EGoM, headed by Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee, has kept in abeyance till May 25, 2012, the proposal to supply natural gas to urea manufacturing plants, minister of state for fertilisers and chemicals Srikant Jena said in a written reply to Lok Sabha.
