KPMG, a global network of professional firms providing audit, tax and advisory services, will bring out a research paper on Central Public Sector Undertakings to help them become "more valuable", a senior company official said here today.

The white (research) paper on Central PSUs will be out by the next week, head of advisory KPMG India, Richard Rekhy, told reporters here on the sidelines of opening of firm's new office in the city.

"The company's several round table discussions with Central PSUs are over," he said.

Among others, the emphasis of the white paper will be how to extract the value from the PSUs and challenges faced by these in the country, he added.

He said the KPMG is also acting as a facilitator between the state Government, industrialists and CII to prepare a roadmap for bringing more industries to Punjab.

The report on Punjab will be ready within one year, he said.

Talking about Jammu and Kashmir, he said lot of economic development was needed in the state. "The KPMG is working with tourism and carpet industry in J&K," he added.

Rekhy said that Chandigarh and the North region was among the top destinations for Foreign Direct Investment inflows and is fast emerging as a leading investment destination especially for automotive and engineering, ITES, education, retail and real estate industry.
