Major Flays Insurgency In Kashmir

British Prime Minister John Major yesterday said that external insurgency would not solve the Kashmir issue and observed that the matter be settled bilaterally by India and Pakistan.
Addressing a press conference at the Dhaka international airport before his departure for Islamabad, Major said that the Kashmir issue might come up during his talks with the Pakistani leaders.
