The Andhra Pradesh government is preparing a detailed master plan for the proposed Petroleum, Chemicals and Petrochemicals Investment Region (PCPIR).
“The plan would be ready very soon,” said B R Meena, vice chairman and managing director, AP Industrial Infrastructure Corporation while addressing a seminar on PCPIR here on Thursday.
As on date, 73 SEZs have been notified in the state of which 22 are functional. In 2009-10, exports from these SEZs touched Rs 5,550 crore, said an official, adding this year exports would touch Rs 10,000 crore.
