"The best materialisation of anything is based upon its origin of the concept. The stronger the concept, better the result," Modi said in a message to Nital Zaveri, chief executive officer, Concept Business Excellence Pvt ltd, which is organising the 2nd annual convention & competition on 'Lean Six Sigma'.
The event is being held at the federation of Gujarat Industries at Sevasi on the outskirt of the city. Modi added, "In today's fast evolving world of business and trade, we do need think tanks who can furnish innovative solutions and suggest business transformations."
The convention is officially supported by US-based company Minitab, Indian institute of Management and quality council of India (QCI, government of India), Zaveri said. "Concept company is one of the largest and professionally managed business consultancy company that provides services in strategies, innovation, problem solving and business transformation across all industries and is recognised at a national and international level," Zaveri added.
Over 200 delegates from different industrial units located across Gujarat are taking part in the event where several industries are presenting their case papers, he said.
This convention is organised for promoting quality concepts in Gujarat state and across the country. In the current heavy recession, these concepts (lean six sigmas) can help to become a sustainable organisation. It can help organisations to reduce cost and improve quality drastically unlike other 'mindless' cost-cutting efforts, said Zaveri.
