Construction of four-lane work, which is in progress on the Mumbai-Agra National Highway will be complete by April end next year, a state minister said here.
The flyover and the railway overbridge on the highway will take some time to complete and the Maharashtra government is following up with the Centre to make available required funds to speed up work on the four lanes, state Public Works Department Minister Chhagan Bhujbal told reporters here yesterday.
Bhujbal was in Nashik to attend a meeting of the District Planning Development Council to take stock of the annual budget for 2009-2010.
Nashik Collector S Chokkalingam and Zilla Parishad Chief Executive Officer B G Wagh were present on the occasion.
