Natural Gas Prices To Be Based On Import Prices Post-Apm

Natural gas prices in the country will be totally based on import prices after deregulation of the administered price mechanism (APM) for the petroleum sector on April 1, 2002, according to petroleum minister Ram Naik.

Talking to reporters after meeting finance minister Yashwant Sinha, Naik said the meeting has resolved one more contentious issue on the way of dismantling the APM regime.
