Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today laid the foundation stone for setting up of a state-of-the-art bus terminal at Barmunda in Bhubaneshwar. The project is expected to be completed within two and half years.
The cost of construction of the bus terminal is estimated at Rs 105 crore.
The project is being implemented under public private partnership (PPP) mode in 14.43 acre land. After 15 years, the terminus will be handed over to OSRTC. The company will continue to operate its commercial complex in six acre land within the bus terminus.
