Following reports of serious irregularities in the construction of Kalma barrage in Raigarh district of Chhattisgarh, a senior officer of Chhattisgarh's water resources department was assigned the task to conduct an inquiry.
The officer completed the probe about 10 months ago but ironically the minister had not received the report till date.

The 10-point probe had indicted serious lapses on the part of department, he added.
