Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Congress President Sonia Gandhi, who arrived here this evening, reviewed security in the metropolis at a meeting convened at the city airport in the wake of yesterday's serial blasts.
Maharashtra Governor K Sankaranarayanan, Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan, his deputy Ajit Pawar and Home Minister RR Patil were among those present in the meeting.
Eighteen persons were killed and 131 injured in the simultaneous blasts at Opera House and Zaveri Bazaar in South Mumbai and Dadar in Central Mumbai last evening.
