Sarovar to set up hotel in Mohali

Sarovar Hotels & Resorts would set up ATS Sarovar Premiere at Dera Bassi in Mohali district of Punjab.

To be located on the Chandigarh-Ambala national highway, 12 km from here, the proposed hotel will be build on 4 acres and form part of a township being developed by ATS Estates, a realty developer in the National Capital Region.

The township will include a special economic zone, an 18-hole golf course apart from a residential area. The hotel will open with 50 rooms with a plan to add another 50 by the end of the year.

Anil Madhok, managing director, Sarovar Hotels & Resorts, said, “The business and leisure market in the region is growing by the day and there is a requirement for more hotels and rooms in the state”

The company's other projects scheduled to open by 2012 in the state include Park Inn in Ludhiana, Hometel in Chandigarh and Sarovar Portico in Mohali.
