Spurious ghee factory unearthed

A person was also arrested in this connection. The factory in Mahaveer Nagar was raided last night by police and health department officials and one Deepak Maheshwar arrested.

Officials claimed two tins of spurious ghee, a huge quantity of soyabean oil, vegetable ghee and ghee aroma scent was seized.      Police claimed that on being questioned, Deepak said that the factory had been functioning for the last eight months in which two more persons were involved.Police have launched a search for the others.
