The Orissa government today presented the first Supplementary Budget of 2010-11. The total additional expenditure has been pegged at Rs 2906.70 crore.
Out of the total expenditure of Rs 2906.70 crore, the Plan Expenditure has been projected at Rs 1185.97 crore with the Non-Plan expenditure being Rs 1123.89 crore.
The Centrally Sponsored Plan size has been pegged at Rs 475.8 crore and the Central Plan atRs 121.03 crore. The first Supplementary Budget for the current financial year was laid on the floor of the house by the state finance minister Prafulla Chandra Ghadai.
In the Supplementary Budget, Rs 64.23 crore has been earmarked for combating Naxalite menace whileRs 60 crore has been set aside for the Mid-Day Meal programme.
For the modernization of police forces in the state, the Supplementary Budget has set aside Rs 3.72 .
