Truck strike: Punjab lets passenger cars carry goods

In view of the strike by truckers, the Punjab government today decided to allow all the passenger vehicles and other vehicles which were suitable for carrying of goods are authorised to carry goods without any permit during the strike period.

A notification in this regard has already been issued to all the concerned authorities, an official release said here today.
