Telecom minister Ravi Shankar Prasad on Thursday said the call drop issue would be resolved within a month, even as he termed the protest against tower radiation a 'sinister' campaign, hampering network functioning.

"I ordered the term cell to conduct an audit. Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (Trai) did an audit. Our department is monitoring. Within a month things should improve," Prasad said.

"This sinister campaign of ill effects of radiation, people need to come out of it. There is difficulty in installing mobile towers. I read the entire literature. There is a WHO report with a 30,000-plus sample. It is not injurious," he added.
