Union Steel Minister and Congress candidate Beni Prasad Verma has been booked for the violation of Model Code of Conduct, the District Magistrate said today.
Beni organised a roadshow in Tarabganj tehsil last evening in which the number of vehicles was beyond permissible limit, DM Vikas Gothalwal said.
The vehicles stopped at many places leading to traffic jam, he said adding that the in-charge officer of the flying squad lodged an FIR against Beni and his supporters.
