Odisha's ruling Biju Janata Dal Friday said it will enter a seat-sharing pact with the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) for the Lok Sabha elections.
The pact will be in the state's Mayurbhanj and Sundargarh districts, where the JMM has a presence, said senior BJD leader and state Panchayati Raj Minister Kalpataru Das.
"The seat adjustments would be done for only few constituencies in both the districts. It is being worked out," he told IANS.
The elections to 21 Lok Sabha seats and 147-member state assembly would be held in two phases on April 10 and 17.
