Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal today met Police Commissioner B S Bassi and asked him to track down the mastermind behind the recent attacks on him.

Kejriwal met Bassi after visiting the residence of the autorickshaw driver who had slapped him during a roadshow in Sultanpuri area of North-West Delhi yesterday.

"Even if you deploy 20 policemen with me, these attacks will keep on happening. Track the masterminds and the attacks will stop," Kejriwal said maintaining that he will not take security.

He said that the policemen deployed in the area to give him security cannot be held responsible for such attacks as when he meets the people and someone from the public attacks him, it is solely his responsibility.

But after that it is the responsibility of the police to investigate.

Talking about his meeting with Police Commissioner, Kejriwal said, "I asked the Police Commissioner what has their probe involving the attack on me revealed so far. He said they have recorded statements of the attackers. I told them that don't harass them and track the masterminds who incite such attacks for vested interests."

Kejriwal said that the Police Commissioner has decided to monitor the investigation into the attacks and give him an update within two to three days.
