Modi criticises AIADMK, DMK; focuses on power & water crisis

BJP alliance with the MDMK, DMDK and PMK in the State wil be an alternate to these two parties, he says

Narendra Modi, Prime Ministerial candidate of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), said came down heavily on the two Dravidian parties, the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) and Dravide Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK), and took up the power crisis and water issues relevant to Tamil Nadu, as major issues in his speech at Krishnagiri, in Tamil Nadu.

He was addressing the public in the first meeting in Krishnagiri, during his two day visit in the State. Criticising the major regional parties in the State, he said that both the parties ruled the State, but they did not focused anything else, but tried to finish each other. He added that the BJP alliance with the MDMK, DMDK and PMK in the State wil be an alternate to these two parties.

Speaking about the power crisis, he said that when he took over as the Chief Minister of Gujarat, people were asking for power supply during the time of dinner, but at present, the State is getting power round the clock, every day. He added that he has also addressed the water crisis in Gujarat and the same could be copied to Tamil Nadu.
