Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) president Lalu Prasad on Tuesday said that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi is worse than a butcher.

"Even a butcher is ashamed of Narendra Modi, and such a person is going to be the prime minster of the country," said Yadav.

Yesterday, Trinamool Congress leader (TMC) Derek O'Brien had called Modi the butcher of Gujarat.

"Butcher of Gujarat air-dropped into Bengal. He has no answers to Bengal's development model. So, he is making personal attacks," said Brien.

"The butcher of Gujarat could not take care of his own wife. How will he take care of this great nation?" he tweeted.

Brien's reaction came after Modi attacked Mamata Banerjee over the amount being received after selling paintings of the West Bengal

"Your paintings used to be sold for Rs four lakh, Rs 8 lakh or Rs 15 lakh, but what is the reason that one of your paintings sold for Rs 1.80 crore. I respect art. But who was the person who bought the painting for Rs 1.80 crore," said Modi.
