Returning officers of 29 Lok Sabha constituencies in Madhya Pradesh, collectors and district election officers have been directed to ensure all preparations for poll counting to be held on May 16 as per Election Commission's directives.
The office of the Chief Electoral Officer here has given directives regarding selection of counting venues and appointment of polling staff and counting agents, an official release said here today.
Districts will have to do first, second and third randomisation of counting staff and micro observers.
Districts have been directed to make arrangements for counting agents and counting tables in counting centres.
Directives have been given to place computer table near the table of RO for feeding round-wise results in the computer, the release said.
