"Rahul Gandhi calls himself a Kashmiri Pandit, but he has not done anything for those who were displaced. Neither he nor any of his family members and the Congress party has ever visited the camps of Kashmiri Pandits," said Sanjay Ganju, president of Jammu Kashmir Vichar Manch, in a statement.
"Instead, Smriti Irani has constantly raised her voice in the Parliament, undertaken several protests highlighting the problems of displaced Hindu (Kashmiris)," he said.
JKVM also held the Congress and the NCP responsible for the plight of Kashmiri Hindus and their elimination from the cultural heritage of Kashmir.
In an appeal to the voters of Amethi, the organisation said that they should be cautious while voting for Gandhi and asked them to support BJP candidate, Smriti Irani.
