Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will campaign for his Gujarat counterpart and BJP prime ministerial nominee Narendra Modi in Varanasi on May 6.

Chouhan will campaign in Varanasi for about five hours on Tuesday evening, BJP sources said.

Before Varanasi, Chouhan will also take part in canvassing for the party candidates in Ghosi, Balia, Chandausi and Robertsganj Lok Sabha seats on May 6, they said.

Battle for the holy city has became a high-stake one since Modi decided to contest from there, with AAP convener Arvind Kejriwal and Congress' Ajay Rai also in the fray.
