All India Congress Committee (AICC) president Sonia Gandhi on Sunday reiterated that it was the iron will of the Congress Party that turned the dream of Telangana into a reality.
"It is only the Congress that can develop Telangana, and it's the national party's commitment to bring justice to all sections of the society in the region," Gandhi said at a public meeting at Chevella in Rangareddy district.
Taking potshots at Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), she said the party had been resorting to opportunistic politics. "We had worked hard in bringing all the parties under one roof, and underwent hardships to make Telangana a reality," the AICC president said.
