Re-elect Nitish, Mamata tells Bihar

The third round of staggered balloting in Bihar will take place on Wednesday

West Bengal chief minister and Trinamool Congress leader Mamata Banerjee on Sunday urged the people of Bihar to re-elect Nitish Kumar to head a new government.

"Request you all in Bihar to please vote to re-elect Nitish Kumarji as the chief minister for greater need of our country and development in the state," Banerjee tweeted.

The third round of staggered balloting in Bihar will take place on Wednesday. The vote count in the five-phase polls will be held on November Nov 8.
