Forex reserves rise by $2 billion to reach $277 billion
Foreign currency assets rises by $1.97 billion to reach $249.22 billion
Krishna Pophale Mumbai Country’s forex reserves rose by $2 billion to reach $277.3 billion according to date released by the Reserve Bank of India.
Foreign currency assets (FCR) which forms the substantial parts of the reserves rose by $1.97 billion to reach $249.22 billion.
Country's reserve position at International Monetary Fund (IMF) increased by $17.4 million to $2 billion while special drawing rights from IMF increased by $38.3 million to $4.4 billion.
