 "LIC launches single premium policy")
Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) today announced the launch of a single premium term policy 'Jeevan Shagun' in Uttar Pradesh.
The 'flexible' policy offers multiple benefits, LIC senior divisional manager Aditya Gupta said here.
It is open for subscription from the ages of 8 to 45 years with the ceiling on maturity fixed as 57 years of age. The duration of the policy is 12 years.
Earlier, LIC had launched two policies, which are offered exclusively online. "We are getting a lot of queries about these policies, although the sales are still slow to pick up due to lack of general awareness."
