LIC south-central sets Rs 15,500 cr target

| The south-central zone covers Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka and has 16 divisions "� nine in AP and seven in Karnataka. |
| He said that the zone recorded a sum assured of Rs 6,861.4 crore including a first premium income of Rs 313.56 crore as on August 15, 2004. |
| The corporation had covered 10 'bima grams', ie, villages having over 100 policies each, as of July 31, 2004. During the last fiscal, the corporation covered 865 'bima grams' in the south-central zone. |
