Call money closed steady in the 5.70-5.75 per cent band amid comfortable liquidity. The one-day repo auction drew 19 applications aggregating Rs 24,615 crore.

These were accepted partially for Rs 19,692 crore. The repo auction indicates that liquidity is fairly spread among major participants.
