Country's largest private lender ICICI Bank today said it has no immediate plan to raise fund by issuing overseas bonds.
"ICICI Bank has no immediate plan of fund raising through overseas bond issuance," ICICI Bank said in a statement.
It further said that the bank has an ongoing fund raising programme and it accesses the debt capital market from time to time.
"Apart from debt capital markets, the bank also has access to other sources of funding like deposits and loans," the statement added.
Earlier, there were reports that the bank has roped in three banks--Barclays Capital, Citigroup Inc and Deutsche Bank AG--to help it raise as much as $1 billion from a bond sale.
