Punjab National Bank(PNB) is likely to achieve a total business of more than Rs 2,00,000 crore in the second quarter of the current fiscal."The bank is expected to achieve a business (deposits and advances) of Rs 2,07,000 crore by September 2006," a senior PNB official said.The total business of the bank stood at Rs 1,94,719 crore at the end of June 2006.PNB, growing by over 20% year-on-year, is likely to raise Rs 2,000 crore through bonds in the remaining part of this fiscal to provide capital for business expansion.
