The Reserve Bank of India has promoted Meena Hemchandra as executive director. She will look after the departments of banking supervision, cooperative banking supervision and non-banking supervision.
In a minor reshuffle Chandan Sinha, executive director who was earlier looking after these departments will now look after the departments of information technology, payment and settlement systems, foreign exchange, and financial markets regulation.
