The prices of government securities went up by 30-35 paise on the medium-term and long-term papers.
The ten-year benchmark 7.38 per cent 2015 paper closed at 7.09 per cent while 7.37 per cent 2014 paper was the top-traded security.
Call money rates remained comfortable at 5.05 per cent.
Corporate bond market remained laclustre with yields firming up tracking the government securities. |
