Rupee ends higher at 46.30/$

Outlook
The rupee is expected to open between 46.28 and 46.33 against the greenback on Friday.

Sentiment: Bullish

n The rupee opened at 46.31/32 per dollar and ended higher at 46.29/30.

Premiums on forward dollars skidded. Annualised premiums on six-month and one-year dollars close at 1.85 per cent and 1.69 per cent respectively.

Money market

Sentiment: Bullish

Government security prices remained rangebound and ended flat as investors trod cautiously ahead of today's auctions.

Prices across the board moved in a 20-30 paise band and closed at Wednesday levels.

The yield on the ten-year benchmark paper, 7.37 per cent 2014, closed unchanged at 5.94 per cent.

Call money rates ended at 4.20-4.30 per cent.
